Foot accelerator connected via lines to the acceleration system of a hang-glider comprises at least one bar (1) having in its middle a clamping device through which the lines are guided and mechanically fixed. The clamping device allows manual fixing/removal of the lines. Preferred Features: Both lines from the hang-glider are deviated in the region of the ends of the bars in the direction of the clamping device so that the lines move freely in the longitudinal direction but cannot slip out of a deviating device (3).
