The intravascular stent is made from a magnetic material with a susceptibility of X less than 10-2 cm3/mol/ The stent has cells forming a circular electrical flow (1) which is induced via an electromagnetic AC field (2) in the stent structure. The stent (3) has struts which grow or prevent the flow. The helical structure is formed from one or more thread sections and has room for expansion. The helix threads are connected via axial elements which have some non-electrically inducting parts with a high electrical resistance.
