The adjustable fastening (1) for disc brakes on bicycle wheels enables the adjustment of the brake cylinder on different positions of the rear wheel so that the brake cylinder is shifted not just linearly but also experiences a rotation. The adjustment is carried out steplessly in two elongated holes (5) of the fastening. The adjustment may be carried out non-steplessly but by the use of a pair of fastening holes. The fastening of the disc brake is inseparably connected to the frame and therefore no detachable component such as an adaptor is required.
