The single or multi-section device for the shuttering of concrete components to be cast has at least one plate-form cover which consists of a material containing cellulose. The cover may be made of cardboard, corrugated cardboard or similar. Each cover on at least one side has a moisture repelling coating of bitumen. The device has a support component (10) made from reinforcing steel mesh to the bars (11,12) of which is fastened each cover element.
