The device is normally pulled by a mini tractor and is fitted with several drive shafts (4, 5) for the outer (8, 9) and the inner rotating units (6, 7). A carrying plate (6, 8) is attached to the lower end of the shafts (4, 5), each fitted with two spikes (7, 9). The inner spikes (7) are permanently joined, while the outer spikes (9) can be adjusted in relation to the width of the individual row. The upper, horizontal segments of the spikes (9) are guided in a horizontal space provided at the double-walled outer plate (8) and locked with bolts in the required position.
