The building fabric has walls with heat insulating and heat storing properties, and a double-shell roof with the space (5) between the roof inner lining (6) and roof skin (7) constructed to be sealed against flow medium. An air collecting chamber (8) is provided in the region of the roof ridge and is connected to the space between the roof shells and in communication with the outside environment via controllable air holes (12) which lie on a level with the eaves or in the loft area.
