The ventilation duct for laying on a support base of a silo comprises a number of telescopic segments (1a,b,c) of varying size with perforated walls (2a,b,c). Each duct segment on the end section leading to the next segment has a protruding shoulder on a circumferential line on the outer side of the wall and which in the extended position of the respective duct segment engages against a protruding stop on the inner side of the wall of the next duct segment with larger cross section and with extending movement carries along the duct segment with the next largest cross section to lengthen the ventilation duct.
