The facade element comprises at least three hollow profiles (1-3) joined together to form an essentially continuous surface on one side and a recess region on the opposite side for receiving a structural part, which is fixed in place by profile arms (5). The profiles have an essentially rectangular or square cross-section, with one profile (2) having a small cross-section located in between two profiles (1, 3) having a large cross-section.
