The system uses a data input circuit (100) which may take data from a CD or other suitable source. A divider circuit (102) divides the picture or data field into several portions to be fed to separate projectors. The data is then passed to a correction circuit (104) which has values for the curvature of the windscreen or other windows and distorts the picture portions in order to correct for this. The data is then passed to a memory (106) which stores pre-distorted picture data.
