The fastening of a slewing pillar crane on a prepared concrete floor (14) has a foot flange (4) on the lower end of the pillar and is screwed onto an adaptor plate (7) which is fastened on the concrete floor. The adaptor plate is ideally round in construction and on its underside has at least one encompassing standing frame (8) which has at least one radially extending slot which is open at the bottom. The adaptor plate has two concentrically extending rows of holes.
