The premixing gas burner for attaching to the furnace body door of a furnace has a cylindrical fuel rod which together with the burner fan (3) and/or other burner components is fastened to a mounting plate (6) which is detachably connected to the burner plate (4). The burner rod together with the burner fan and/or other burner components is mounted so as to be axial movable in and/or on the burner plate. A pipe connector (7) as a sliding guide is fitted at right angles to the burner plate and fits through the furnace door (8) and its insulation (9). The inside diameter of the pipe connector is somewhat larger than the outside diameter of the burner rod.
