The collapsible sledge has two runners (2) and two seat rails (4) connected by a seat fabric (3) and connected to the runners by a scissor-type frame (5) formed by two struts (7) fitted on a central pivot point (6). The struts are straight in design, and the axial bearings (7) allocated to the struts for the central pivot point are offset from the middle of the struts to the edge (9) which is facing the seat fabric. The struts are constructed as square profiles. Stops (10) are located on the struts in the region between the axial bearings and seat fabric on the sides facing each other.
