The size of the holes in the ends of the arms is chosen so that the end of each arm may be slipped over a neck of a bottle and grasp it when the central spider is lifted up. The bottle lifter may be made of flexible material e.g. rubber and the central spider may be reinforced by an additional ring of material. The arms may be of a shallow profile cross-section and there may be lips at the extreme ends outside the holes. The central hole and the holes at the ends of the arms lie on six triangles with equal sides (110).
