The sealing arrangement for a corrugated pipe (1) has an O-ring seal of elastic material fitted in a corrugation in the pipe and with a protruding bead for sealing contact with the inner wall of the pipe sleeve. The flanks (5) of the corrugation (2) have an offset (6) for the forming of shoulders to support the fitted sealing ring in the corrugation. The shoulders are constructed in a region half way up the corrugation. The flanks of the corrugation above the offset extending perpendicularly and form an approximate housing for the sealing ring.
