A thermopile (4) is mounted on the outer surface of the cylinder (1). The cold junctions face the cylinder; the hot junctions are thermodynamically-connected to the heat exchanger (6) of the water cooling circuit. (Note: the configuration described above, cools the cylinder contents). The outer surface of the cylinder is provided with flat faces. The plant has an additional heat exchanger, with an external circuit for air flow. Its closed-loop coolant circuit is connected to the thermopile heat exchanger by a changeover system.
