The machine has a vibrator (13,14), and a suction device (8) rigidly connected to the vibrator, when this is located on the slab surface, during at least part of the vibration process. The vibrator is fastened to a suction plate (10). This has a suction surface with peripheral sealing lips (12) on the underside and is connected to the suction device via suction pipes (11). A rubber-elastic material layer (7) is located under the suction plate. Suction device and vibrator are each located in a carrier frame (1,2), and these can be connected simply for transport.
