The device is for teaching music notes (violin/bass system) and has notes presented on small cardboard plates on staves. On the rear side of the plate is a letter representing the note on the front side. Additionally to the letters for the music notes, on the rear side of each small plate is indicated an animal or object, the initial letter of the name of which corresponds when spoken to the note symbol, e.g. E = elephant, A = ape.
