Reinforced flexible PVC pipe for drinking water has an inner, water-contacting layer comprising a mixture of (i) PVC with a K value of 60, (ii) rubber, (iii) chlorinated polyethylene, (iv) acrylate and/or methyl methacrylate copolymer and (v) additives. Reinforced flexible PVC pipe for drinking water, which complies with DVGW Guidelines (Instruction Sheet W 543) and comprises (a) an inner tube with a layer which comes into contact with water consisting of a mixture of (i) 10-80 parts by weight (pts. wt.) PVC with a K value of 60, (ii) 5-90 pts. wt. rubber, (iii) 5-90 pts. wt. chlorinated polyethylene, (iv) 2-8 pts. wt. acrylate and/or methyl methacrylate copolymer and (v) additives, (b) a reinforcing layer and (c) an outer tube based on PVC with a K value of 70 or more and a non-migrating plasticiser.
