The threaded union functions between a female coupling part (12) and a male coupling part (32) in a drill train for striking drilling. The female part has an inner thread (18) and the male part is provided with an external thread (34). The female and male parts are provided with components (24, 25) for axially locking them together when the one is fitted in the other. The male part has the form of a joint socket which in the area of the end supporting the lock components is provided with a bevelled part. The lock components comprise an internal first peripheral track arranged in the female part, a lock ring fitted in the first track, and an external second peripheral track arranged in the male part in the area of its one end. The lock ring is provided with a peripheral slot with a specific width.
