Automatic feed system for rods, especially for CNC rotary benches

The automatic feed, especially for a lathe with computer numerical control (CNC), has a loader with a hopper (24) to deliver each bar (27A-C) to a bench, and an advancing mechanism with short and long modules, a marker and a pusher. The loader has interacting mechanisms to avert any impact by the bar (27A) against any component of the loader, and especially against the bench (22) and hopper (24). The operation of the loader is also reversible, so that it can be used for both loading and unloading bars. It has a set of claws (42) on a rocker (41), a cam (44) driven by a shaft (45) linked to a motor, an eccentric shaft (49) on the lower end of the rocker, and a lever (61) articulated about a fixed shaft (64) and cooperating with the rocker via a mobile shaft (51).
