A taped electronic-component assembly includes an electronic component having a socket (11) with which an operation shaft (5) is detachable engaged, and a band-like tape (7) which holds consecutively the electronic components with terminals (6) projected from the electronic component adhering to the tape, and thus presents an improved packing density with its operation shaft not interfering with a terminal cutting operation.
