Protection device for diffusion of a rotary cooler in the cement industry

The clinker lifters (10) are in the form of a tunnel with an arc of almost 180 degrees . They are fixed by their bases on the inner face of a cylindrical sleeve (16) forming the wall of the cooler that is traversed longitudinally by the clinker destined to be cooled by air traversing the cooler in the sense contrary to that of the progression of the clinker. The protection device is made up of a protective cap (30) having a good wear resistance and that covers at least the arch of each clinker lifter.
