The air-conditioning system uses a freezer or a refrigerator as a source of cold. The bottom of the unit contains a coolant liquid reservoir which supplies a number of convectors. A water pump ensures the distribution of the coolant liquid to the convectors, operating under control of an electronic programmer. The coolant fluid is water or preferably a water and alcohol mixture.
