Process for cleaning surface of e.g. swimming pool especially for removing debris floating on or near water surface, involves recycling cleaned water to pool to create water movement towards outlet filters

The process involves placing different groups (22-29) of cleaning heads (P2-P7) on the bottom or walls of the swimming pool underneath the water surface for cleaning dirt and debris suspended in the water. Further groups (18,20) of cleaning heads (B1,S1,R1) are provided on the steps of the swimming pool. Pool outlet filters (12,14,16) provided in the deepest part of the pool and on the pool side respectively have collectors to filter out debris and also recycle water using pumps. Water is output from the pumps to outlets (30,R8) that return the water to the pool and create movement in the water towards the pool filtering outlets (12,14,16). An Independent claim is included for a swimming pool cleaning system implementing the above method.
