The assembly system has a flat tongue (4) at one end of a tray length, which slides into a sleeve (3) at the end of the adjacent tray length. Tongues and sleeves are fixed to the wire forming the side of a tray, with the sleeve formed by a 'U'-shaped strip attached to the side wire. The depth of the strip complements the thickness of the tongue. Holes (15,16) in tongue and sleeve allow fixing.
