The system for recovering condensate in a car heater comprises a casing (12) fitted with a drain tube (14). One end (14a) of this is attached to the casing, while the other end (14b) has a ring (16) with a line of weakness which fits over a hook (18) molded on to the wall of the casing. This holds the pipe system inside the casing during installation, the ring being fractured to allow it to drop to its final position. An Independent claim is included for a vehicle fitted with the system.
