New spinel-type derivative of indium sulfide and its preparation , useful for the manufacture of photocells

New compound of indium sulfide of spinel structure with octahedral and tetrahedral sites, for incorporation in an ionic conductor as a thin layer or in the form of a monocrystal. New compounds of indium sulfide in spinel form of general formula(I) :- (In6)Oh(In2-x/3NaX)TdS12 ; - where x is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 1 ; Oh signifies octahedric and Td tetrahedric. Independent claims are also included for the preparation of the compounds and their uses.
