Guarantee seal consists of transfer film carried by a supporting film or paper layer that is non-elastic in a lengthwise direction and has total thickness of less than 100 microns. The transfer film comprises first and second adhesive portions. Between the adhesive portions the seal has an intermediate portion with a printed layer. Guarantee seal consists of a transfer film (2) carried by a supporting film or paper layer (1) that is non-elastic in a lengthwise direction and has a total thickness of less than 100 microns. The transfer film comprises first and second adhesive portions (10, 11), the first having a printed layer and designed to be fastened on one side of the aperture, and the second attached to the opposite side. Between the two adhesive portions the seal has an intermediate portion (9) with a printed layer, extending lengthwise between the edges (12, 13) of the two adhesive portions and made so that it does not adhere to the surface(s) of the sealed object(s).
