Preventing dedifferentiation of cells in in vitro cultures, useful e.g. for preparing material for cell therapy, by adding inhibitor of lysyl oxidase to culture medium

Use (M) of an (in)direct inhibitor (I) of lysyl oxidase (LO) as inhibitor of dedifferentiation of cells in vitro, so as to maintain a constant phenotype throughout the culture period, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) cell culture medium containing at least one (I); in vitro culture carried out in medium containing (I); and (2) preparing tissue or tissue implants by the culture.
