The osteosynthesis plate is in two sections (1, 2) with female (3) and male (4) connections in the form of a cavity (6) and a projecting rod (8). The cavity is cylindrical in shape with an inner thread (5), while the rod has a thread (7) on one portion (9) which tapers slightly towards one end (22) which has a flexible tip (30) which holds the two sections of the plate at a predetermined angle to one another. The tip has a lengthwise slot (34) to enhance its flexibility, and it slides in a bore (32) at the bottom of the cavity.
