The vehicle has two pairs of wheels, one pair (1,2) being steerable and the other pair (3,4) fixed. The wheels are independently driven by hydraulic motors (10,20,30,40) which are doubled and supplied from a pump (50) partly in series and partly in parallel. Two series conduits (C32,C42) are connected to a low pressure circuit (64) by a pressure limiter (66) and flow is limited by restrictions (R58,R60,R62).
