The speech message receipt notification system has messages sent to a receiver and after having been heard a receipt is returned to the sender. The destination message platform receives and processes the receipt demand with speech message storage. The receipt is returned in the form indicated by the transmitter. The message platform receives the receipt and a terminal identifier allowing the sender to consult the returned receipt.
