The invention provides a method of regulating a vehicle stability control system based on the forces existing in the ash of each wheel of a vehicle. The driver's actions, whether in steering, acceleration or braking, cause forces (variations of forces) transmitted by the tires to the ground. It is proposed to control the actuators of the vehicle (active anti-roll, engine torque, braking torque, load by wheel or steering) by using force instructions from the actions of the driver. As a function of the inertia of the vehicle body, as a function of the speed of advancement of the vehicle and of the steering wheel angle (steering wheel speed and steering wheel acceleration), the invention proposes a method for expressing in terms of efforts driver inputs. If the actual forces measured do not correspond to the forces desired by the driver, the active system compensates for this difference by acting on the force distributions in the chassis. / P
