The unicast cells comprising virtual, real unicast cells and multicast cells are set in a single queue. The transmission time periods of both the cells, with respect to the output modules are set such that it does not exceed preset cell bit rate allocated to the queue. An Independent claim is also included for input module in asynchronous switching node.
