The cheese packaging (1) comprises a base (2) for receiving the cheese and a bell (3) whose lower part (4) fits on the base on a peripheral groove. The base is provided with bell retention means (8,9) opposing withdrawal of the bell beyond the base. The bell is provided with slots (10,11) for these retention means. The lower part of the slots is made at the level of tabs (13) made in the base. The tabs can be broken in order to allow first opening of the package.
