Device for picking up road signaling cones comprises a rod that is moved between horizontal (A) and vertical (B) positions. In the first position the rod enters into wide end of a horizontal cone (1). The cone is then lifted as the rod is moved from the horizontal to the vertical position. The device also comprises a horizontal support (3) on which the rod deposits a cone before it is returned to its first position. An Independent claim is made for a vehicle for picking up signaling cones. Said vehicle comprises a bumper for knocking the cones over in the direction of travel of the vehicle and an inventive picking up device that is mounted from the side door of said vehicle.
