The method for making a grindstone (50) comprising a cylindrical core (14) and several segmented partially cylindrical abrasive particles (52) stuck on an external surface comprises a precursory raw cooking stage to prepare each abrasive particle. This is done with the help of a support whose expansion coefficient is different to that of each particle. This is followed by a sticking stage of the particles on the external peripheral surface of the core with an adhesive.
