Download method for multimedia document includes selection by mobile phone call prior to download to local stationary station

After hearing a piece of music broadcast by a radio or television station, a listener may call by mobile phone to enquire as to the price and delivery time of the piece. The listener may then place an order via the phone, and have the music downloaded to their fixed terminal where it is recorded for subsequent listening. When a user wishes to consult a multimedia document, broadcast for example by a radio station or television station, he calls a server (SE) from his mobile terminal (TM ). The server transfers to his mobile terminal the characteristics (CDM) of the document, such as price and delivery time of the document. The user can then request from the mobile terminal an immediate order of the multimedia document. This includes matching the address (NTM) of the mobile terminal with the address (ABO) of a stationary terminal (TF) for the user, so that the multimedia document is transmitted by the server to the stationary terminal. A recording unit (BO) in the stationary terminal records the downloaded document so that the user may read it later.
