The implant comprises central optical section (I) (1) connected to haptic section(2) which supports it in the lens sac (II) and transmits forces to it resulting from changes in the state of the ciliary muscle. The haptic section comprises a ring(3) pressed against (II) and connected to (I) by a semi-tore(4) having inner surface ribs(5) lying parallel to the implant's axis of symmetry.
