Marking device using a fibre optic comprises: a chassis, a fixed induction element (2) a mobile element forming a linear motor with the fixed element, an elongated arm (4) supported by the mobile element and a fibre optic (6) directing a laser beam (f) towards the components (12) to be treated. It also includes two adjacent chambers (16, 16') sealed against light, each possessing an individual door (18, 18') for operator access. The induction element is arranged in the vicinity of the chambers such that the elongated arm is able to penetrate, in an alternating manner, into one or other of the chambers.
