The grain and seeds are fed into the crusher through an overhead hopper (8) with two shutters (10, 11) to regulate the flow in line with the contacting surfaces of the rollers as the first roller is rotated at slow speed by a 5500W electric motor and belt. The lower part of the hopper has a water mist injector (9) to reduce or suppress the dust, and the crusher has a housing to make it conform to safety and noise regulations. Each of the rollers has a scraper to removed crushed grains and seeds from its surface.
