P A flow regulator, which can be connected to an infusion tube of an intravenous infusion set which includes a needle holder and an infusion needle 8, includes a housing comprising a body 11, a through hole s extending longitudinally from a front side to a rear side of the body 11 for the passage of the infusion tube 6, a regulation control 20 installed in the housing 10 and adapted to apply pressure on the infusion tube 6 and a sheath of reception comprising a body rigidly fixed on the housing 10, a reception chamber 32 defined in the body 31 of the reception sheath and adapted to receive the infusion needle of the intravenous infusion set, and an opening 34 at a end of the body of the receiving sheath through which the infusion needle is inserted into the receiving chamber 32. /P
