The system uses a device having a microwave source, a waveguide, a cavity, and a mobile system placed in the cavity. The electromagnetic field distribution is defined and controlled. The magnetic field is conveyed into the cavity by two waves, forming a pair emanating from the same source or from two sources, guided by means of a waveguide in the form of a loop such as to produce a field of high intensity within a defined zone in the cavity by interference and the product for heating is displaced in the cavity by a translational movement.
