The stop is composed of a piston (2), with a hemispherical head, covered by a skirt (3). It is driven into the ground (8) leaving the piston head visible. A horizontal groove passes through the head. When the leaf (9) passes on top it crushes the piston which is retracted inside the skirt. The piston is pushed upwards by a spring (4) and the leaf is trapped inside the groove.
