Method for forming a piezoelectric pressure sensor integral with the internal aluminum wall (12) of a liquefied gas tank (10). Accordingly the superficial surface of the inner wall of the container is converted into corundum, by oxidation and then crystallization, and then an electrical connection is made to the corundum so that it forms one terminal of a voltmeter. The invention also relates to a corresponding device for method implementation with an electrode (42) and a current generator. The electrode rotates with respect to the tank around its axis (A).
