The missile (1), having an elongated body (6) with rear (2) and forward (3) sections and fins (5, 9, 11), incorporates a deployable deflector (13) to create an aerodynamic peturbation during the launch phase. The deflector is deployed and retracted by a drive, and has sections that deploy adjacent to the forward fin roots or between the fins; it can also be mounted on a forward stabilising module by temporary fastenings.
