Process for deacidification of natural gas comprising two-stage removal process and flashing

Gas to be treated is delivered through line 1 to first absorption section 2. Solvent introduced at 6 contacts the gas, removing COSB2/SB and HSB2/SBS, and is discharged through line 7. The gas is introduced to second absorption section 4 through line 3. Solvent introduced at 8, contacts the gas and removes sulphur compounds. Gas discharged through line 5 is free from acid and sulphur compounds. Solvent from line 7 is expanded in flash drum 10, desorbing hydrocarbons to from a gaseous effluent which is discharged through line 11, depleted solvent is discharged through line 15. The gaseous effluent is introduced to washing column 12 and contacted countercurrently by solvent from line 9. Sulphur compounds are desorbed and discharged through line 13, and acid components are discharged at 14. The acid-containing fractions are mixed and enter regeneration column 18. Acid compounds are stripped and the solvent is regenerated for use in absorption columns 2, 4.
