Tread pattern for the sole of a golf shoe

The sole of a shoe, particularly for golf, has double side-slip preventing projections 3a and 3b and further projections 5. The projections 3a and 3b each have a toe side-slip prevention wall along an line convex to the toe of the shoe and a heel side-slip prevention wall along a line convex to the heel of the shoe. The spacing between two adjacent projections 3a is at least 2mm. The patterns for right and left shoes are transversely inverted relative to one another, a pair of such shoes being suitable for left- or right-handed golfers. The sole is made as an integral component from rubber or synthetic resin.
