PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a position within a positioning accuracy of 1cm at every measuring time interval of 1ms to 100ms, regardless of a stationary object or a high-speed moving body.;SOLUTION: By considering the frequency variation due to the Doppler effect of received microwaves at an observation point, applying virtual reality space theory and eliminating transmission delay affecting large to accuracy of positioning and correcting theoretical errors existing in the conventional technology, positioning accuracy can always be kept within 1cm, regardless of the distance between the observation point for measuring the position from now and the reference observation point, that is the length of the reference line. By this method, although there is no problem, that positioning error conventionally becomes large in proportion to the distance between the observation point for measuring the position from now and the reference observation point that is, the length of the reference line when the reference line length becomes more than a few km, although there is no problem in the case that it is as short as a few km.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
