PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free flow electrophoresis element capable of performing stable free flow electrophoresis under a condition in which a large amount of gas is generated in an electrode chamber.;SOLUTION: This free flow electrophoresis element separates/takes a sample by applying the voltage approximately vertically to the flow, while continuously poring the buffer fluid and the sample to an electrophoretic vessel constituted by combining two sheets of flat plates. Partitions are mounted respectively between each of a pair of electrodes mounted at both outer sides of the electrophoretic vessel along the flowing direction and the electrophoretic vessel, and small clearances of 3 μm or less are formed respectively between an end face of the partition and each of wall faces of the flat plates opposite thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
